The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. started in 1954 to teach riding and the proper care of horses. It is based on The British Pony Club, which was created in 1929 as a junior branch of the Institute of the Horse. Since then, Pony Club has expanded to many countries around the world, with the main goal being to promote sportsmanship, stewardship and leadership through horsemanship. The United States Pony Clubs, Inc., develops character, leadership, confidence, and a sense of community in youth through a program that teaches the care of horses and ponies, riding and mounted sports.
Keystone Pony Club will hold three meetings per month—THE FIRST THREE SATURDAYS OF EACH MONTH, 2-5 PM: one mounted lesson, one unmounted lesson, and one social activity, per month.
Keystone will help families navigate registration with the national organization as well as educate members on all the benefits of Pony Club. Pony Club members have opportunities to attend regional and national, and even international events, receive college scholarships, and various awards and accreditations.
Members of the Keystone chapter will pay annual membership dues to Pony Club and a monthly membership fee to Keystone to support our club meetings.
Annual Membership Dues are: $155/year
Monthly Club Meeting Fees: $75/mo
